Encore Pest Control is a local, family-run business built on experience, honesty, and a genuine desire to help people. I’m Kenzie Prosch — born and raised right here in Birmingham, AL. I grew up around Oak Mountain, went to Oak Mountain High School, and later graduated from UAB with a degree in Elementary Education. Life took an unexpected turn, though — instead of teaching in a classroom, I discovered a passion for pest control during a college job, and it stuck.
What began as part-time work quickly became a career I truly enjoy. I spent years helping my previous company grow into one of Birmingham’s largest pest control providers. When it came time to build something of my own, I wanted Encore to reflect everything I valued most: strong relationships, dependable service, and treating customers the way you’d treat a good neighbor.
At Encore, we keep things personal. We communicate clearly, show up when we say we will, and take the time to do things right — not rushed. Our technicians are friendly, thorough, and actually have a moment to check in on you rather than just rush to the next stop. To us, the people we serve aren’t just appointments. They’re families, homeowners, and community members we care about.
Outside of work, I’m a husband, dad to three busy boys, and the official giver of treats to our very spoiled dog. And if we’re not out on the job, chances are we’re somewhere in Disney chasing a little bit of magic.
